Overview
Movement of PVC belt conveyors is provided by motor power. They are preferred in sectors that are not directly exposed to heat and that do not carry products which may damage the belt. Conveyors using PVC belts are manufactured at slightly lower cost than other belt materials and other conveyor types.
PVC belt conveyors are supplied in flat, miniature and L-type configurations, and the belt is available in a range of colours. PVC belt is not suitable for food contact; where the application is in the food sector, polyurethane belt is specified instead.
